Starting Something New

Starting something new is f/cking scary—especially when you think no one is going to take you seriously. But that may be the worse thing about starting something new—and that is the coolest thing about it.

So why not? DO IT.
I have been wanting to start this nutrition coaching company for a while. I have always known that I love teaching and throughout my military career, I always volunteered to teach about something I didn’t have any prior knowledge about. Along the way, I became an American Heart Association CPR/AED instructor, a combat life saving skills instructor, a resiliency instructor, a domestic violence and sexual assault intervention instructor, and the list goes on. The biggest take away from all those classes I’ve taught, is that I absolutely love teaching. After experiencing the body building life and competing, I realized that I absolutely love nutrition. When people learned I was competing, they made so many outlandish assumptions about nutrition that I knew I had to do something about it to help my peers shape they way they think about food.

Getting certified in nutrition has reignited the passion I have for teaching, for finding that healthy balance, and allows me to share the endless amount of research I've done with you. We all have battled with our health or “body image” in some way, shape, or form. With the endless lists of stuff we have to accomplish in a day, it is hard to even remember to eat, let alone find something healthy in a pinch.

There are so many theories, fads, and social influences about health and fitness that it’s hard to see through the bullshit. And that’s what it is—bullshit. So if you want to learn more about yourself, your body, and what you can do to find a healthier you, schedule that free consultation now!
